SooZ Jillette, a resident of Rigaud, (Quebec, Canada) has been working as a dinnerware and glassware designer for a Montreal company since 1998.  She began painting with oils in the fall of 2001 and started using watercolours and acrylics the following spring.

Since, she has become an active member in numerous art associations & societies and exhibits her work in group shows, solo shows and on her websites.  She has been honoured by being elected into the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), the International Guild of Realism (IGOR) and the Autour de Nous (ADN) group of local professional artists.

SooZ has won many awards for her paintings and was chosen to exhibit her work in a gallery in Lecce Italy and Chateau Réaux in France. Her paintings can be found in private & corporate collections across Canada, the United States, Holland, France, England, Russia, Poland, and China.

Presently she works with acrylics and is working on a new series of fun and colourful paintings in the fantasy realm. Most of her work can be described as bright and whimsical.

While never garish, her energized work beams with vivid hues controlled by a natural sense of colour.
